JC Protection LLC – NYC Security Company was built on a simple belief: every client deserves protection delivered to a law enforcement standard. That standard comes straight from our founder and President, Clifford Strong, a former NYPD Lieutenant who spent 20 years serving New York City in uniformed, investigative, and executive protection roles, including duty on the Mayor’s executive protection detail and a leadership role establishing the department’s Force Investigation Unit.
After a command-level career in policing, Clifford set out to bring that same discipline, judgment, and professionalism to the private sector, protecting the schools, residential communities, businesses, and events that keep daily life running. He assembled a leadership team drawn largely from the ranks of the NYPD and other elite security operations, so the experience guarding our clients is the same experience trusted to protect some of the most demanding environments in the country.
Over the past decade, JC Protection has grown from its New York headquarters into a firm licensed to operate in five states: New York, New Jersey, California, Arizona, and Texas. Our expansion into Arizona and other western markets reflects a reputation earned one assignment at a time, built on reliability, accountability, and client-focused service.

Clifford Strong — President
Clifford is a former NYPD Lieutenant with more than 30 years of combined law enforcement and private-sector experience. During his 20-year NYPD career he served on the executive protection team for Mayor Michael Bloomberg and helped establish the department’s Force Investigation Unit. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from St. Francis College and is highly trained in active shooter response, executive protection, and investigations.
Glenn Strong — Chief Operations Officer
Glenn brings decades of experience in security administration, institutional safety, and supervisory leadership across educational, residential, and corporate environments. At JC Protection he focuses on long-range planning, policy guidance, and business development, working closely with the management team to uphold professional standards and compliance.
Angela Strong — Director of Compliance & Administration
A retired NYPD Detective from the Special Victims Division, Angela has over a decade of experience in operations, human resources,andregulatory oversight. She leads JC Protection’s billing, accounts receivable, and corporate compliance functions, including prevailing wage and certified payroll requirements, internal audits, and audit readiness for government-funded programs.
Kema Santos — Director of Armed Security & Event Coordination
A retired NYPD Sergeant with more than 20 years of service, Kema leads all armed security functions and the planning and execution of armed guard contracts. She oversees the deployment, supervision, and compliance of armed personnel, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Old Westbury.
Charles Henderson — Head of Training & Tactical Development
A New York State Certified Security Instructor with more than 35 years of experience, Charles directs JC Protection’s training programs, tactical instruction, and regulatory compliance. His background includes service as a Sergeant at Columbia University, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York Police executive protection unit, and the New York Stock Exchange.
Akini Montoute — General Manager, Security Operations & Event Management
Akini has over 12 years of experience in corporate security, hospitality, and large-scale event operations. He has overseen multi-site security contracts for major organizations including the MTA, the NYC Human Resources Administration, and Whole Foods Market, and specializes in workforce management, surveillance and access control systems, and event security.
Patrick Mulchay — Regional Manager, Arizona
A decorated former NYPD Sergeant with over two decades of experience, Patrick specializes in counterterrorism, surveillance, and executive protection. He served in the elite Critical Response Command and Anti-Terrorism Unit and holds certifications in dignitary protection, tactical drone operations, and active shooter response.
