Retail Security Officer (Unarmed) – Manhattan, NYC | JC Protection, LLC

Location: West Village, Manhattan, NY
Schedule: Thursday to Sunday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to join our team at a popular retail candy store in the West Village. As the first point of contact for customers, you will help maintain a safe, welcoming environment while ensuring store policies are upheld.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor store activity to prevent theft or disturbances

• Greet and assist customers as needed

• Maintain a visible presence to deter inappropriate behavior

• Report any incidents or suspicious activity

• Work closely with store staff to ensure a smooth and secure operation

Requirements:

• Valid NYS Security Guard License

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Punctual and dependable

Schedule:

• Days: Thursday through Sunday

• Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Compensation:
